Anna-Katrin whirls on the group and stares everyone down. "Goddess save me! Can all of you just shut the hell up for one bloody minute and show some respect to our poor hosts! We've all been unceremoniously dumped here, it would seem....we need to make the best of this situation, and these people are being kind enough to host a dinner for us! Rashn removed his field cap for a moment and fixes his long deep brown hair. "As far as what's on the menu. Tonight, I imagine it's Shirudo. Try and bait you over with some cheap shot like fried seafood or something easy like that..."

You see, a pirate is a drunken fisherman who ine day thought about how awesome would be for him to sail his unseaworthy boat into the open sea and start stealing whatever he could find and try to kill everyone in his way. A corsair, and pay good attention now, is a professional at this sort of doing. He is a well-disciplined individual who knows how to behave and knows how to get the most out of the raids, like keeping hostages alive and healthy. Nobody wants to pay for a dead hostage! And merchant ships are full of priceless loot! Not to mention the materiel we get from salvaging the said vessels..." He began to whisper "Just between us... I have killed, yes, but only in self-defence and I wasn't even a Corsair back then. I was a soldier. Got it, mister?" |

Anna-Katrin stops and looks around, her eyes taking in the incredible dining hall. The artworks that adorn the walls were painted by the masters, and the architecture and styling of the entire room is truly a sight to behold.
"This is absolutely breathtaking!"
She slides into a seat on the opposite side of the table from Blue and her men.
"Commander Valentine, why don't you join me?" she asks, taking note of his discomfiture.

Valentine's admiration of the local culture is cut short by the Colonel. He turned his head to her.
"Huh? Oh, yah... Of course... How could I refuse such an offer from a beautiful lady?"
His boots are clicking on the cold floortiles as he makes his way to the chair next to Anna-Katrin and he takes a seat next to her.
"Ain't this beautiful? Nothing like this in the lands that I rule..."
