- Wolfgang don't pay much attention of Alice's remark.
Wolfgang: "Naturally. I'm certain you would find my wine cellar's selection... adequate. If you seek less refined alcoholic beverages, Heinrich can escort you to the soldier's canteen. Allthough it would behoove you to practice some self-restraint Until we finished this meeting. As much as I like to converse freely, SKULL gatherings are known to lay it's foundations on alcohol."
- He then raises his hand a bit lower to return Sergeant Prideux salute.
Wolfgang: "I appritiate the apologies, Sergeant. However I had the chance to work with your superior before to know better what to expect." - He said the last words with some obvious scorn in his voice. - "However as long this meeting bears any fruit, attitude is the least of our problems."

- Alice bursts out laughing, grabbing Sergeant Prideux's shoulder -
Alice:"See? they're not all that snobbish as you would believe, now relax and take a seat."
- while the others mingle among themselves with casual formalities Alice attentively study the room, scrutinizing every inch & detail before getting up & clearing her throat. -
Alice:" Alright, So, taking our guests word, If we are free to talk, I'd like to bring up the first Item on the evenings agenda... ORB... I am sure that we are all eager to go forth & put a leash on the supposed... "Free world"... but before we dedicate any of our forces I am sure we can all agree that they are currently posing a substantial threat & are indeed an entity to be concerned about... We have not yet heard from any of their leaders since their escape from Sentinel, and with them being so close to our borders, should we expect an ORB invasion in the near future?

Wolfgang: "They are a threat most certainly, but their moment to strike is far from opportune. In their costly campaign in Afrika they lost a sizeable portion of their forces and the invasion itself has lost it's momentum. Aside the vengeful SPEAR to deal with on their Afrikan colonies, they would be fools to make CROSS an enemy at the moment. Aside our sheer power, agression against CROSS now, after the massacre of Sentinel, would shatter one nation's prestige to one level of SKULL and would risk the formation of a second anti-ORB coalition... such as we did in Afrika.
Naturally we have to note that we are speaking about animals here. Their behaviour is perhaps won't be dictated by logic, but instinct instead. Still, even a wounded dog wouldn't provoke another fight, before finishing off it's first one. Not to mention that the new tactical freedom which the abolishment of the SHAPE doctrine provides would grant us the upper hand against a foe that heavily relies on manpower.
I highly doubt ORB would dare open up a third front, before dealing with SPEAR or SKULL... which naturally leaves us time for more beneficial pursuits."

Elena: " for several reasons Cross and Star would benefit from a prolonged Spear and Orb war, however these kinds of operations can have a way of getting out of control very quickly. We have to take a long term view. I would not underestimate Orbs new feline generals, not to mention that old bear lurking in the back ground. Admiral Yoko and both generals Whiskers and Bruno will put a combined front that will be hard even for our combined armies to over come. There experienced, well funded and extremely determined..."
There is a loud sound of pots and pans falling to the ground and a few moments later we see Ben running past the door holding a assortment of foods and a bottle of whisky, with two strings sausages he is wolfing down while numbly running. A moment later we see a few Cross guards and chefs stumbling and running after him "Get him!! Dear god he is going to eat all of it before we get him!! GET HIM NOW!!
After a moment of silence Elena puts her hand over her forehead " Did I mention I have taken travel insurance out on Mr savage, so we'll refund you for any damages and apologize for any inconvenience he may cause you" She looks at Wolfgang " I would appreciate it if your men could bring him to heel for a bit, try not to damage him too much, he is very useful to me on the field" she looks at Jason with a small sigh (the ghost Sgt.) "Please go see to this for me Jason" The ghost cracks his neck and walks off after them.
Elena steeples her hands " Now, I say we leave Spear and Orb to battle it out for a while and see where the best opportunities lay in the near future. I think we should concern ourselves a bit more with this new X-core faction that has sprung up in coalition with the Skulls. We need to find there leadership, there primary objectives and there main resources then cut off the head of the snake before it grows any further. So far we can only see that the Skulls is one of there main supporters. So lets smash there new found cohesion and find out what they know about there whole story."

- Wolfgang releases a grunt while tapping his nose bridge. -
Wolfgang: ".... Useless fools." - he turns on his radio again - "Elisa, we have an inconvenience." Elisa: "We already trying to detain him... but he is not your ordinary troublemaker." Wolfgang: "Save me from your excuses. Use the tesla grenades!" - he said it ever so impatiently - Elisa: "The corridors are too small and narrow to use it safely. It would effect our own..." Wolfgang: "I do not care about the prize of their incompetence. This interlude is a stain on the Empire's honour! See to it at once!"
- Answer does not come from the radio anymore, but a muffled thundering sounds echo throughout the lower halls of the castle, with the faint screams of several throats. -
Wolfgang: "I apologize for this. The guards who let this happen shall be punished severely." - He then looks at Elena. - " And no, no, there's no need for that. We shall not be petty, the expense of this rampage is on me. As for your Novus, our tesla grenades probably electrocuted him unconscious. I shall make sure he'll be in a servicable state upon your departure... with all the necessary actions made to keep him under control for that moment, naturally."
- Embarrassed a bit by this interlude, he continues aloud. -
Wolfgang: "While I do agree X-Core can prove dangerous, if not contained, they are not an army, but a terrorist organization. If they would have a continuity of movement, fixed points of position, if they would have form, I could beat them with form, but what we are facing here is not a known enemy. While we could do the secret service's job and wage war on terror, pulling these nihilistic elements out by their necks, one at the time, I do believe it's a terrible waste of the gifted time that ORB and SPEAR granted us with their conflict.
If anything, I would propose to take out the legs of their operations. From the battle of Sentinel, it was obvious what was our real threat... the pirates. While X-Core operates as a scalpel, it's SKULL that is their hammer and potentially the greatest peril to our stability. Without their steady supply of resources, supplies, manufacturing capabilities and mere manpower the international rebel threat would easily reduced to mere pockets of resistance.
And then both the remnants of X-Core and all other parasite elements would meet their end under the heel of our boots, like the vile insects they are.
- He leans a bit forward in a menacing manner. -
Wolfgang: "Not to mention that the resources of South Amerika could also aid our future strougle against the Anthro menace."

- Alice sits patiently & listens to the others points, occasionally taking a drag of her cigarette until finished before considering to interject.-
Alice: "I do believe we may have overlooked something. While the SHAPE Doctrine was still in effect, ORB was still considered a member of the Civilized world... what little that meant. Recently after what had happened due to their Ethnic differences to ours, they may decide to take this opportunity to align themselves with SKULL and X-CORE... As far as we know, X-CORE has been the least active in ORB Territories, mostly Targeting Human and Novus communities. If ORB had to establish some form of alliance, we may not face a mere terrorist organization anymore but instead a well organized and well funded force.
- There is a brief pause -
Alice: "This also opens up another can of worms... If this was to happen, It would only be a matter of time before SPEAR buckles under the pressure... and after that, With their new found allies they may decide to pay us a visit next... We may have time to prepare for such an invasion, and although it may not break our backs, If they where to decide to invade us along with SPEAR, It may have a completely different outcome all together."
"STAR is perhaps currently the best defended, It is relatively removed & Isolated from any major fronts, and an invasion would be much too costly for any party involved. We could consider aiding SPEAR in the near future as a means to maintain the buffer between us and our enemies. I mean... they may be foreigners, but same could be said about STAR."

- There is the sound of two people walking towards the door. Major General Miles stops in the doorway staring in the direction Ben ran. He turn his head towards the inside of the room and takes a couple steps in as his assistant Betty enters close behind him, holding a takeaway coffee cup in one hand and a briefcase in the other, still looking out the door.
Gavin: "Well chaps, hope I'm not too late. You all have me deepest apologies, our..."
-Gavin pauses for a second as if to collect his thoughts
Gavin: "Our cab made an unexpected stop on the way here and we stopped for a drink while the issue was rectified. Now, what have we missed?"

-As the discussion continues, the High Thanes have been conversing among themselves. That was until they heard about ORB might be planing to align themselves with SKULL and X-CORE, the area suddenly became much more silent than it is before. One by one they started to speak out.
High Thane 1: The ORB would ally themselves with the terrorist cell... another issue to be aware and to deal with in the coming future.
Drakenor: After the stunt the terrorist pulled out during the recent conflict, ORB allying with these scum will only give the population of the Civilized world more reasons to come after them.
High Thane 2: Indeed, especially SPEAR as they have been in conflict with ORB for such a long time. If that really happens...
High Thane 3: SPEAR will no doubt be the first to strike against ORB, might even put everything else on lesser priority... that might even include the main threat posed by these 2 terrorist faction.
High Thane 4: Imagine that... not only do they have a well organized and well funded force.... we also have to deal with their WMD.
-Nanchi stood tall shouting with fist pounding the desk.
Nanchi: Are they willing to risk causing another cataclysm!? We have lost much with all the previous major war, all the work we have done, our research , our technologies! It all due to miracle that we manage recover quick, their reckless act would keep us from progressing into the future! At this point, we might as well scrap what we know and then reinvent the same thing over and over again!
-Nedrom pulls out his cigar, used his lighter to light it.
Nedrom: If they really commit to their alliance... *Smoking*... wrong move on their part.
*The High Thanes looked at each other, before turning their attention to the meeting.*
Drakenor: During all the previous conflict, including the one SKULL used the WMD on the commercial port, the Maxmillian Order have us to reform the military forces, or at least the ones under our control.
High Thane 2: Yes... we have decided to "change" the way our military works. Something that boost our tactical advantages against our foe in the future at any given time.
High Thane 3: The kind that will allow us to destroy any target effectively within the shortest amount of time possible.
High Thane 4: A control, that would allows us freedom over large area of operation and disrupt the enemies ability to do so as well.
Drakenor: It just happened, that we have just the right thing to make this work... the Maxmillian Order.
Nanchi: Us scientist won't stand by and let the fools destroy our work over and over again! My organization, Biocore from now on shall be a part of the Maxmillian Order in the name of Science, Knowledge and Progression!
Nedrom: For the longest time, I have held my army back from involving themselves in all the previous conflict. Save for the time we had to "acquire" something for ourselves. They dared to touch one of my family members... they will pay for it. The Global Paramilitary Army will also join the Maxmillian Order in our effort to rid these bastard from the face of this world once and for all.
-Trevor looked down, both hands holding his face, elbows on desk.
Drakenor: Retribution will come in time, they will pay for their crimes.

- As the Thanes raise their concerns, Sergeant Prideux quickly made his way towards Major Miles & his escort saluting before addressing him.-
Prideux:" Sir, Thank you for joining, If you would please follow me to your seats we had preserved for you. I can Imagine the other commanders will be eager to hear your thoughts on the matters at hand."
- At this rate, between Alice's chain smoking & Nedroms cigar, the room has quickly filled with a dense cloud of smoke that hung over the conference hall making it slightly harder to make out everyone's expressions. -

- Gavin grins to Prideux and salutes back. He looks around the room and loses his chipper expression.
Gavin: "You wouldn't happen to have a fan or something?"
- Gavin pulls out a handkerchief and holds it to his mouth.
Gavin: "Or perhaps a couple of respirators-bloody hell, what is this, Auschwitz?"

- Upon his remark, Alice Immediately kills her cigarette & whispers in Prideux ear to organise her some wine from the Gombostonian Kitchen staff. She then Gets up facing miles & extends her hand.
Alice:" My apologies Major, These gatherings make me nervous, I am Commander Blue, I'm currently the commander of the tactical anti-Espionage & heavy armned forces garrison in your northern Territory sanctioned by the Imperium. I hope our presence there has not yet raised any concerns.

- Gavin meet's Alice's hand with his free hand.
Gavin: "Charmed to finally make your acquaintance, Blue. I read the report on your work dealing with those pirates. Jolly good I must say. Also, might I suggest nicotine patches, as oppose to those coffin nails?"
- Gavin's mouth is covered by his handkerchief but it is clear he meant the remark half as a joke, half in the interest of good health. He then looks around for a seat. Alice notices his eyes are slightly pink, but not from the smoke it seems.

- Alice, not wanting to seem nosy or spare her the embarrassment of Asking The Major if he is holding any Marijuana under such formal circumstances dismisses what she saw & turns towards the meeting. with Sgt De Prideux shortly following with a domestic staff member carrying a glass & a bottle of dark red whine.
Alice: Gentlemen, So far we have made it clear that we all want to... and if you would excuse my uncultured turn of phrase... " Tear those bastards a new one" How would we proceed? What is to be our next move? Are we to invade? Where? Or do we intervene between ORB & SPEAR? Who exactly is our main target here & what is going to be in our best interests?
- The Staff member, briefly pours a tasting sample of the wine into the glass, after which Alice turns her head slightly & mumbles "Keep going, & leave the bottle"
Alice: If I may be so bold, I suggest we assemble a task force, a strike team that we mercilessly unleash onto the free world with as little effort as possible. As I remember we still have stockpiles of NEC2. We go, we release the infection & we wait for the problem to sort itself out, while at the same time we keep the majority of our forces here & hunker down for an invasion. As Far as I know, Husks don't swim.

-At the mention of NEC2 virus, Nanchi eyes open wide. The High Thanes begin whispering to each other. Nedrom, still smoking his cigar.
Drakenor: Regarding this NEC 2 virus.... as you might have known, the Maxmillian Order have sent small part of our forces helping the GPA clearing out infestation and claiming lands for our own. Mostly small part of the infected lands...
Nanchi: We happen to come across a hoard of them in one of those infected bunker. I took my time researching the virus and... the virus we found have mutated into a different strain after such a long time isolated from "sentient" intervention.
-Nanchi draws out a small note book from his pocket, flicking pages until he found the relevant notes.
Nanchi: The "specimen" are able to self sustain themselves... it means they are able to live a long time without any sort of cell degeneration. Other than that, specimen within these isolated land also have the abilities to regenerate themselves. Of course, said specimen also "acquires" weakness from the resulting mutation.
Drakenor: HECT Infantry of the Biocore are fortunate enough to equip themselves with the right equipment.
Nanchi: There have also been reports that environment forces different mutation upon these husk, of course they haven't been found to adapt or evolve quickly enough to be a threat if the ages are any indication of that.
Nedrom: Wait until you see one that actually does.
*Some of the High Thane started to talk among themselves at this point.*
Drakenor: We haven't actually start crusading into the more dangerous part of the infected lands. With the current situation we are facing now, I doubt we will be able to do so any time soon. But enough of those grim news, Nanchi will show you the fruit of his work, the results of his dedication to the advancement of our technology.
-Nanchi, filled with pride and confidence speaks louder for everyone to hear.
Nanchi: Gladly! As you may have known, there have been a great demands in resources with all the military action taken in recent events. This discovery has brought us ways to limit vehicle casualties in battle. Thus saving precious resources we could use elsewhere, like our R&D efforts! Not only that, this technology also opened up new possibilities, potential breakthrough, things we might not even imagine happening. Of course... if I have to reveal them all now, I would be spoiling the excitement yes? It is best seen with your very own eyes!
-Trevor, for the briefest of moment smiled before returning to his usual expression. Though it all quiets down a bit, Nanchi could feel that the High Thanes approves of his work.
High Thane 1: Now... as for the proceeding. The Administrator have asked very important question regarding what we should do. However, we should also consider what our "targets" intend to do at the moment. Acting first will reveal our plan to the enemies, personally I would either wait or send spies to gather intel.
Drakenor: Mhmm... however, we all know by now that when it comes to gathering intel the Maxmillian Order can only do so "sufficiently". Obviously, it might not be enough... the enemy can be deceptively cunning, enough to catch us snooping around or to hide/fabricate info. Commander Elena, I trust that STARS have ways in gathering vital information?

Gavin: "This.. NEC2 stuff. What is it exactly, if you don't mind refreshing my memory?"
- As he begins to reach to get himself a glass Betty nudges him and says "Are you sure another is wise?" under her breath. Gavin then instead heads to take his seat.
Gavin: "Also while you lot are off assembling your talsk force and whatnot, I believe that defencive job you need, Alice, I can divert my boys to."
